Red Day Round-Up

Thanks to everyone who joined us for today's red day.  Lots of beautiful hues.  Tomorrow we're back with the colour blue and our last day of summer colours week.  Always seems to fly by!  Here's a few highlights of the day (above) and yay I found the square option format thanks to the help of one of our readers, Amy.  Looks much better!  See you tomorrow for blue!

It's Red Day!

Yay it's red day! - I'm really looking forward to everyone's uploads! There's been some crazy amazing photo's this week �some I want to get prints of. There's still time to join in if you wish - just upload you reds today (or blues tomorrow) to our flickr group - it's fun!  I'll be back later today with some red highlights and summary of the day. Summer Colours Week: Pinks Round-Up!

It was a crazy good day at the Summer Colours Week group (have you been by yet?) - it is just one of those things that should fix any kind of wrong. Sort of like being at the beach all day with a breeze; there's just a bit of an afterglow. Pink in all it's glory and a site to behold.  I only wish there was some sort of better way to bring them all over here - the new format on flickr isn't too blog friendly - but I've done my best - and these are just a sampling of the goodness over there.  So be sure to check them all out!  (Tomorrow is red day which should be another blockbuster but in a different way - so please join us - it's kind of a nice way to spend time online - I know I've said this before but it's so true - it's so awesome to watch the community come together to create something special like this)!  It also allows us to interact with our readers a bit more too (yes YOU readers �who don't like to comment - nudge, nudge)! A little conversation would be super exciting for me!!!!  And if you haven't had enough pinks (or past days of other summer colours, there's more being pinned over at our Pinterest boards - here). Summer Pink!

Tuesday's Summer Colour is Yellow - so if you're just joining us now, Colour week is upon us and it's time to load up all your yellows in our pool - Summer Colours 2012 Week Flickr Group and we'll pick highlights throughout the day as well as a daily summary to post on the blog's evening post.  The colour schedule is as follows: June 25, Monday - Green; June 26, Tuesday - Yellow; June 27, Wednesday - Pink; June 28, Thursday -Red; June 29, Friday - Blue.  I've also created a special Pinterest board this year highlighting different images if you care to follow there also. This week is managing to fly by again (is this happening to you too)?  Can't seem to keep up!  So okay - it looks like summer colours week is a go for next week (June 25 - 29/12) up on flickr - YAY! Monday we'll be kicking off our 3rd Annual Summer Colour Week! Please join us in celebrating summer by participating in the fun! It's super-easy! Upload the colour of the day to our Summer Colours 2012 Week Flickr Group and we'll pick highlights of the day to post on the blog's evening post. I've also created a special Pinterest board this year highlighting our favourites!

Guidelines: Upload your images to our Summer 2012 Colours Week Flickr Pool. New images preferred, not something already posted to any of our other colour pools in the past. Images don't need to be actually taken that day, just something summer-themed (like stawberries, skies,  beaches,  water, etc.) Keep on track with the assigned colour of the day. Eg; Monday upload yellow colours only until 6pm Pacific, when you can then start to upload Tuesday's colour, etc. We would prefer to keep product pictures out of the pool.
