Leaf & Orla Kiely's Garden Retreat

Contributor Post from Megan at Room6

Did you guys catch the lovely Orla Kiely artisan garden retreat from the Chelsea Flower Show over on Apartment Therapy last week? I could spend some quality time in that "shed".

While looking for a photo credit for the Orla Kiely bike shot, I discovered a new-to-me digital magazine called Leaf. Their Spring 2012 issue is online here.

Pretty Patterns & Pillows from Imogen Heath

Contributor post from Megan at Room6

I love the geometric shapes and pastels from UK based surface and pattern designer Imogen Heath, but I'm equally drawn to her pretty florals. It's a refreshing mix, don't you think? Looks like Imogen also has a lovely blog filled with inspiration.

About Imogen: Combining her training as a weaver and print designer, with many years of experience selling textiles and pattern designs to global fashion and interior companies, Imogen decided the time was right to start up her own design business in June 2011, with the support of the Princes Trust.

In July 2011 Imogen launched her first small range of home decoration product at the New Designers One Year On exhibition, which was immediately snapped up by the Design Museum. Soon after this exhibition, Imogen was asked to design an exclusive range of cushions for Heals for their spring 2012 collection.

Breakfast Debut from welovekaoru

Contributor post from Megan at Room6

I just love this charming bone china breakfast set (aptly named "Breakfast") by London-based welovekaoru which debuted at the recent Pulse London. In my opinion, there's no such thing as too many stripes! I also love that everything is made by small independent family-run potteries in Stoke-On-Trent. Kaoru's goal is to preserve the traditional values of true craftsmanship and quality of British ceramic design and production. Carry on!

My Cape is Invisible

Contributor post from Megan at Room6

I like to think everyone has a little super-hero inside of them somewhere, so I fell hard for this shirt from UK-based The Joy of Ex Foundation.

I'm also a fan of the pillow cushion cover with: I can't go out today-there is a sofa stuck to me and the kid sized tee (spotted earlier this week on A Cup of Jo) with: My cape is in the wash.
